Ever since I was a child, I have always enjoyed being in front of the camera and influencing others. Since age 4, I have been a dancer, including a wide variety of styles such as hip hop, jazz, kick, ballet, and more. I have also been a huge fan of theatre. Since elementary school, I have grown a love for musical theatre and took roles in musicals such as Footloose, Singing In The Rain, Anything Goes, and Xanadu. I have been modeling since I have been 6 years old and still continue to do so today.
In middle school, I started to pursue my dream of becoming a broadcast journalist. I joined the schools daily news and started to write. At the age of 18, I received an internship with CBB Review where I produced writing and video content for NCAA games. I went on to continue this throughout college until my Junior year. I also write for The Odyssey which has allowed me to let my creativity flow. Throughout college, I joined The Daily Chic where I took part in their fashion shows and helped promote events through social media. Over the years I have worked my way up through positions such as a Specialist, Reporter, Fill-in Anchor/Reporter to an Anchor for The Cut which is a student produced news network at ASU. Growing up, I would always say that I wanted to be a "superstar", but as time progressed, I found my passion for journalism.
Some day, I would love to work in the entertainment business or work for BuzzFeed because I love to be in a creative, fun, and fast paced environment. I have a passion for anything in the arts, considering I grew up performing, and I think reporting on that would be amazing.
